Welcome to the Bayshore Pediatrics Blog
As we welcome 2009, Bayshore Pediatrics is beginning a new adventure – blogging. You may ask yourself “why”? The simple fact is we like to talk with our parents and families. So often, we are asked general questions that we would love to share with many rather than few. We hope to discuss some of those with you as well as our thoughts on the latest news. We will also share tidbits that we have learned about being a parent (from being a parent ourselves or from the parents we see everyday). As children grow, so do we as parents, and learning from others often helps.
As pediatricians, we are entrusted daily with caring for the greatest treasure of all – children. Children are amazing – they share some of the greatest things – joy, love, and laughter – with those around them. This is our favorite part of a day – hearing children’s laughter. We love seeing the innocent quirkiness that children bring. It often brightens up an otherwise gloomy day (you have all seen the weather lately). In contrast, we know that as parents, it can be tough out there. We hope we can brighten your day and help you along your parenting journey.
Please join us in our adventure – sharing with us your thoughts as well. We hope to see you here soon. Check back frequently—and subscribe to this blog to receive all of our posts.

This is a fantastic blog…seriously. I particularly like the “what’s going around” topics, and seasonal health topics.
Since I’m a big fan of Bayshore Pediatrics (you are a wonderful group of pediatricians), I value your opinions on the latest health news, and what I can do as a parent to keep my children happy and healthy.
Keep those blog posts coming! :-)
