Turning 18 – New resources

It is a flutter of activity at Bayshore Pediatrics.  We are working hard to provide better resources and educational information to help you as parents navigate the health care world.  Recently, we posted a blog about the Wisconsin Immunization Registry and how we can help you get access.  Now we would like to share some new resources for those parents of soon to be 18 year olds.  Turning 18 is an amazing time, with all the giddiness of the first day of school, however it can also be a crazy time with surprises around every corner.  We don’t want to be one of those surprises so we have prepared some informational sheets on what it really means to be 18 in the health care world.  Please take a few minutes to go to our website (if you aren’t already there) and click For Parents, take a look at the new resources we’ve prepared.  We are hopeful that this information will be a big help in welcoming you and your child to adulthood.
