H1N1 Vaccine – Available now – must read

We have received a new shipment of H1N1 vaccine today.  We are scheduling appointments for the H1N1 vaccine at this time.  Before calling for an appointment, please read the following.

We are scheduling appointments for nasal spray and for injectable vaccine.

The nasal spray is only available for children 2 years and older, without asthma, chronic medical conditions, or being around someone that is immune compromised.  In addition, there must be 28 days between the seasonal nasal spray, mmr, or varicella and the H1N1 mist.

The injectable vaccine is available for any child between 6 months and 2 years of age and children older than 2 years with chronic medical problems.  These include diabetes, asthma, or other similar problems that prevent the child from receiving the nasal spray version.

Injectable appointments are only available for children that do not qualify for the nasal spray.  If you are interested in injectable H1N1 vaccine and your child qualifies for the nasal spray, you will need to check back at a later time to see if the priority changes.

Please note that the injectable vaccine is a multi-dose vaccine and contains thimerisol.  If you require non-thimerisol vaccine, this is not available at this time.
