Smiles and Giggles
Smiles and giggles are something that brightens everyone’s day. Sometimes we forget what made us smile for the week. Recently the manager of Bayshore Pediatrics read an article that talked about a family smile box. The family had created a “smile box” and “smile cards” where members of the family could write down something that made them smile through the week and put it in the box. At the end of the week, the family would bring the smile box out at dinner and read these smiles, remembering and laughing all over again what made the family smile.
Bayshore Pediatrics is trying a version of the smile box. We have put up smile cards in the lobby. We are asking patients to share what made you smile today. At the end of each week, we will post and blog what made our patients smile this week. Here are the first of what we hope are many smiles and laughs from our patients. Remember, these are from the children we see so parents, find your inner child when you read these. We hope these bring a smile to your day as well. So next time you are in, tell us what made you smile or giggle.
